This was inspired from observations of the beauty of common and typically very small flowers that were growing around our house. Despite their familiarity some of the flowers are surprisingly exquisite in form, something I only appreciated when photographing close up.
One thing I continue to enjoy about the use of a camera is how it makes you take a second look at things that are around and find something surprising in the familiar. Each of these images did that for me.
